The LED Transmitter is where the transmission+intereference project really began. The device is used to transmit audio signals with light that is received with solar cells. The principle of the signal transmission is related to amplitude modulation (AM) radio.

Once the device is built and working you will be able to transmit audio, with good quality, over a reasonable distance. Best results are achieved in dark spaces to remove the hum of any other lighting hitting the solar cell.

Interesting effects can be achieved by interfering with the light signal using anything you feel like - water, fans, mirrors etc …
