Research / Inspiration:
Nam June Paik

This workshop explores cassette tape and the walkman and is inspired by "Random Access" by Nam June Paik. Various elements of the material are explored requiring workshop participants to be playful and bring their own ideas. Tape players and tapes are hacked to control speed, delay and loops.

The workshop ran for 4 days and ended with a live performance by the workshop group using only tools / instruments built during the workshop period.
